Andrew Kamondia wa Gathigi is a former farmer, sign-writer and batik from Wangige, Kenya, who has exhibited his work in America and Europe, Africa and parts of Asia.
While he was still a farm Manager at Red Hill his first paintings were bought by Gallery Watatu’s, Ruth Schaffner.

Andrew gains inspiration from a range of sources including serene landscapes and day to day activities, he creates semi-abstract works marked by technical expertise and an emotional backbone.
