Esther Mukuhi is a Kenyan artist and teacher based in Darubini Arts Studio, Kiserian. Her artforms vary from sculptures, paintings, beadworks and mixed media. Mukuhi is the founder of Darubini arts project, which nurtures talented children from different schools in the surrounding areas and in her studio on Saturdays and during school holidays. Esther has participated in solo and group exhibitions as well as workshops locally and internationally; exhibited at Banana Hill Art Gallery, exhibited at Beijing museum, workshop at Thupelo in CapeTown, workshop for Tondonyang Women Project in Turkana, Kajiado County Schools Kreative Art Projects.

During the Heroes Campaign In 2014, Esther was honoured with the Elder of Burning Spear award (EBS) for nurturing children’s creativity free of charge.
