Lucki Mutebi is a painter and self-taught artist from Kenya. He is one of the founding fathers of Banana Hill Art Studio in 1991. During the 1990s, he was very active on the Kenyan Art scene exhibiting at Gallery Watatu, the National Museums of Kenya, The French Cultural Centre, the International Conference Centre and Goethe Institute. He travelled to Kampala for the pan-African congress in 1993 and his works were exhibited in Philadelphia in 1994. In 1996-97 his paintings were shown at the Pierre Gallery in Harare and also in France at the Loggia in Merignac.

Mutebi moved to Europe and studied at the Institut supérieur de peinture de Bruxelles Van der Kelen, Belgium in 1998. In 2000-01 he was based at the studio mixart in Toulouse and in 2002 held an exhibit at the European Community.

He has been moving back and forth between Europe and East Africa ever since and, in 2011-2014, created a cultural space in Kampala, Luckipedia.
