Samuel Njoroge Njuguna joined Banana Hill Art Studio in 2004, where he interacted with other artists, including Jeff Wambugu, Sebastian Kiarie, Joseph Cartoon, and Shine Tani, among others.
Since then, Sam has participated in numerous art workshops and exhibitions all over the globe. He has also worked with charity organisations such as Food for Thought Africa and Harambee Arts and is a member of Postart Group.
Njuguna is mostly inspired by African beauty, especially land and seascapes, culture, and habits. His love for innovation in creation has made him work more with mixed mediums to create spontaneous colour hues, resulting in the elegant looks of lively, coloristic, and intensely amusing works of art.
"Painting is my language of expressing my appreciation for life and nature, and though silent, it authentically simplifies, reconstructs, or reinvents more personalised statements about our world. Hence, I am inspired differently each day by all that surrounds me and my experiences."
