Andrew Nyaga is a 29-year-old Kenyan painter and mixed-media artist who was born on Star Wars Day (May the 4th).

Although he is a Nairobi native, he maintains a strong connection to his Embu community roots in the Mount Kenya region. His work reflects his appreciation of textures, patterns, and vivid colours. As a young, aspiring artist, he was fascinated by the world around him, and spent many weekends with his father at auto shows and garages, which had a big impact on his love of all things vehicles and patterned.

Andrew received his training in the Kenyatta University Fine Art Department, where he is completing his bachelor's degree.
